A solid project phase is the key to success for any project. Therefore, Havkraft always works together with our clients in a staged development plan. A staged development is vital as it allows the parties at an early stage to start working to steadily increase the detail level of any project. The benefits and obstacles will be underlined, and any licensing, rights and permits will be secured.
Throughout the staged development phase we will be the first to suggest pulling the plug on any project if the conditions are not right
STAGES FOR SUCCESSFUL PROJECT EXECUTIONS
Basic Assessment
A basic look into the local possibilities for building wave power value chains and solid business models, including local industrialization.
Time schedule 2 – 6 weeks
Preliminary Study
Feasibility study on paper, gathering documentation and permits on the local wave energy resources and establishing a business model.
Time schedule 6 – 12 months
Preliminary Project
Project financing and detailed design for the site. Securing permits and licenses.
Time schedule 12 – 18 months
Project Execution
Establishing a local business value chain by implementing several OceanONE units in the region to supply local customers with green energy.
Time schedule 18 – 24 months
Upscaling And Oparation & Maintenance
Upscaling wave energy in the region based on local industry, local off-takers and local value creation throughout the value chain in the local business organization. Producing and installing the required number of OceanONE-units on your site. We make an agreement to follow up your project in an Operation & Maintenance plan, to make sure your power is delivered as expected based on your local wave energy resources.
